UniFi Wifi
UniFi offers enterprise-grade Wi-Fi with excellent reliability, coverage, and control — but at a price point that makes sense for homes and small businesses. Unlike many off-the-shelf mesh systems, UniFi is scalable, secure, and designed to be robust enough for professional environments, while still being easy to manage once set up.
Needing to restart your system regularly is not normal — it’s usually a sign that something needs updating or reconfiguring. A properly set up system should run for months without a reset. We can diagnose what’s going on and fix it so you don’t need constant reboots.
This usually happens because Wi-Fi speeds are affected by distance, walls, and interference. Your broadband speed (500 Mbps) is what arrives at your router, but Wi-Fi is shared out across the house. The further you are from the access point, the lower the speed. We can help improve coverage and consistency, so you get much closer to full speed everywhere.
Most of the mesh systems are self-install as they only require plugging in and connecting wirelessly on an app. All our solutions are connected using Cat 6 – this means we can guarantee stability and speeds in the parts of the home where you need it. WIFI with a cabled backbone creates a stable network on which you can connect all your wireless devices with confidence.
The best time is before the walls go up. Planning your Wi-Fi and wired network early — at the same stage as your electrics and lighting — makes a big difference. It allows us to design the ideal cable routes, access point locations, and smart-home integration without costly rework later. Even if you’re still in the planning stage, we can advise your builder or electrician on where to run cables so you’re set up for strong, reliable coverage throughout the property from day one.
UniFi Cameras
Yes. With the right setup, they deliver professional-grade protection. They’re robust, integrate seamlessly, and keep getting better with updates.
Yes. Customers often tell us the UniFi Protect app is simpler and more user-friendly than alternatives. You can view live video, review recordings, and manage alerts all in just a few taps.
Absolutely. That’s one of their biggest advantages. Everything runs in the same UniFi platform, so you can manage your cameras, Wi-Fi, and network in one place.
They do. UniFi’s AI cameras can detect people, vehicles, and motion events with impressive accuracy, helping reduce false alerts and making monitoring easier.
Yes. UniFi’s dedicated license plate cameras capture plates clearly, day or night, even at speed. As with any system, correct installation and positioning are key to best results.
Yes — and in many cases, better. We install both, but UniFi offers easier management, a more intuitive app, and full integration with your UniFi network, making it our preferred choice.
Home security cameras give you peace of mind. They help deter intruders, let you check in when you’re away, and provide clear video evidence if something does happen.
UniFi Gate & Door Access
Yes. By centralising management, logging all activity, and integrating with your cameras and network, you eliminate weak points and maintain full control over who enters your property.
Not usually. We can often upgrade older systems, particularly if you already have Cat5e or Cat6 cabling, bringing everything under the same unified platform with minimal disruption.
Absolutely. You can control multiple entry points, schedule access, and manage temporary permissions — all from the same app and platform.
Many gate companies prefer SIM-card or standalone solutions because they’re simpler to sell. A system like UniFi is more secure, versatile, and cost-effective in the long run, but requires professional setup — which is where we come in.
Yes. UniFi intercoms let you see and speak to visitors remotely using the app, and you can grant access without leaving your home.
UniFi’s platform is modern, reliable, and fully integrated. Unlike standalone or SIM-card-based systems, it works seamlessly with your cameras, Wi-Fi, and other UniFi devices.
An access control system gives you peace of mind and convenience. You control who can enter, receive instant notifications, and can respond to visitors remotely — all from your smartphone.
2N Gate & Door Access
2N is a premium intercom and access control system known for its reliability, design and flexibility. It’s ideal for both high-end homes and multi-entrance buildings.
Yes — 2N integrates well with systems like Crestron and Control4.
Yes — the camera within panels such as 2N IP Solo and 2N IP Verso can be integrated into UniFi Protect, avoiding duplication of systems.
Yes — 2N allows you to receive calls and unlock doors remotely via a mobile app.
Yes — it scales well for multi-entrance properties, apartment blocks and commercial environments.
Shading Control
Integrating shading and lighting from the start elevates the entire project. These finishing touches give a premium feel, enhance convenience, and ensure everything works seamlessly under one app and platform. Yes. We can often upgrade older systems, particularly if they’re networked, bringing them into the unified platform with minimal disruption. Yes, we specialise in installing blackout blinds tailored for cinema rooms, ensuring the perfect viewing environment. Yes, both Lutron and Crestron systems allow remote control via their respective apps, enabling adjustments from anywhere. Absolutely. By controlling natural light, they reduce reliance on heating and cooling and help maintain optimal indoor temperatures. Yes. Automated shading can simulate occupancy when you’re away, working with your security system to deter potential intruders. Both offer seamless integration with smart home systems, but Crestron provides a lifetime limited warranty on shade motors and power supplies, offering added peace of mind. Automated shading enhances comfort, privacy, energy efficiency, and the overall feel of your home. It’s a subtle touch that adds a premium look and ensures convenience. Crestron is a high-end automation platform designed for fully integrated homes and commercial spaces. It offers a higher level of customisation, performance and scalability compared to most other systems. Yes — we regularly take over and improve existing Crestron systems, resolving issues and enhancing usability without full replacement. Yes — we can arrange visits to the Crestron UK Showroom or selected local installations. Despite its capabilities, a well-designed Crestron system should feel simple and intuitive. Our focus is always on usability.
Lighting Control
Smart lighting systems connect to your home’s Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or a dedicated smart hub. Using an app or voice commands, you can turn lights on/off, adjust brightness, or set automation rules like “turn on at sunset” or “dim at movie time.”
Yes. Smart lighting lets you create automated schedules — for example, having lights turn on at sunrise, dim in the evening, or turn off automatically when you leave the house. Automation helps save energy and adds security when you’re away.
It depends on the system. Some smart lights (like Philips Hue) require a hub for advanced features, while others (like WiZ or LIFX) connect directly to your Wi-Fi and can be controlled via your smartphone or smart speaker without extra hardware.
Most smart lighting systems are compatible with popular assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit (Siri). This allows you to control lighting hands-free using simple voice commands.
Absolutely. Smart lighting helps reduce unnecessary power use by letting you dim lights, turn them off remotely, and use motion or occupancy sensors. Many smart LED bulbs also consume less energy than traditional lighting.
If your home loses power or Wi-Fi, your lights won’t respond to smart commands — but they’ll usually revert to standard switch control once power returns. Many systems automatically reconnect to your settings when restored.
Multi Room / Cinema
Yes — we offer complete acoustic design and ambient lighting solutions to create the perfect viewing environment.
We handle everything — from room design, lighting, and acoustics to the supply and installation of projectors, screens, speakers, and seating. We create a fully immersive cinema experience tailored to your space and budget.

Not always. We offer both wired and wireless systems. For new builds or renovations, we recommend discreet wired installations, while wireless options are ideal for existing homes with minimal disruption.
Starlink
Starlink is available in most of the UK, the US, Europe, Australia, and many other countries, with coverage expanding rapidly as more satellites are launched.
Starlink uses a constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites that communicate with a user’s Starlink dish (terminal) to provide internet access directly from space.
Latency averages 20–50 ms, much lower than traditional satellite internet, making it suitable for activities like video calls, streaming, and online gaming.
Download speeds typically range from 50 Mbps to 250 Mbps, with upload speeds between 10 Mbps and 40 Mbps, depending on your location and network congestion.
Yes, Starlink offers Business, Roam (Portable), Maritime, Aviation, and RV plans designed for different needs and usage scenarios.
No, Starlink currently offers unlimited data for most residential users, though speeds may be deprioritized during peak times.
Creston Home
Crestron is a high-end automation platform designed for fully integrated homes and commercial spaces. It offers a higher level of customisation, performance and scalability compared to most other systems.
Yes — we regularly take over and improve existing Crestron systems, resolving issues and enhancing usability without full replacement.

Despite its capabilities, a well-designed Crestron system should feel simple and intuitive. Our focus is always on usability.
Control4
Control4 is ideal for residential projects, upgrades and retrofits where you want reliable smart home control without the complexity of fully bespoke systems.
Yes — Control4 is very well suited to existing homes and can be installed in stages if required.
Yes — we’ve carried out many Control4 takeovers, improving performance, updating programming and expanding systems where needed.
Yes — lighting, audio, video, heating, security and access can all be integrated into a single system.
Not necessarily, but we do offer support if required, especially for updates, changes or troubleshooting.
Leased Line
Yes. Your leased line can be upgraded at any time, often without additional installation work. Just contact us and we’ll adjust your bandwidth to meet your new requirements.
Can I share my leased line with multiple devices or family members?Absolutely. A leased line supports multiple devices at once without slowing down, making it perfect for busy households, home offices, or shared properties.
In some cases, yes — if new fibre cabling needs to be run to your property. However, our engineers aim to minimise disruption and will plan the route in advance to ensure any work is neat and reinstated properly.
Speeds range from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps, depending on your location and requirements. Your provider will recommend the most suitable package after assessing your usage and property setup.
Broadband and fibre connections are shared with other users in your area, meaning speeds can fluctuate during peak times. A leased line is a private connection that delivers symmetrical upload and download speeds and guaranteed uptime — ideal for home offices, gaming, streaming, or smart home systems.
A leased line is a dedicated, high-speed internet connection that provides guaranteed bandwidth exclusively for your home. Unlike standard broadband, your speed isn’t shared with other users, so you get consistent, reliable performance 24/7.
Yes. Your lease line provider will supply and install the necessary equipment, such as a router or network termination unit (NTU), at your premises. This equipment is specifically designed to work with that leased line probider.
Generally, the upfront cost of a leased line can be higher than standard broadband due to its dedicated nature and guaranteed performance. However, for businesses where connectivity is critical, the long-term benefits of increased productivity and reduced downtime often make it a cost-effective investment.
Leased lines offer a higher level of security than shared networks because the connection is private and dedicated solely to your business. This reduces the risk of data interception and makes it easier to implement robust network security measures.
Symmetrical speeds mean that your upload and download speeds are equal. This is crucial for businesses that regularly upload large files, use cloud-based backups, or host their own servers, as it ensures efficient two-way data flow.
Standard business broadband is a shared service, meaning bandwidth can fluctuate based on local network traffic. A leased line offers dedicated, uncontended bandwidth, symmetrical upload and download speeds, and guaranteed performance through a Service Level Agreement

I cannot recommend Wifiworks more highly. I found them on the internet which is often a high risk strategy but they could not have been more professional in assessing the job that was required, visiting the site and implementing the plan. They explained the technicalities very easily and are a reassuring and charming team to deal with. The work they have done has been a game changer for our remote and old building in Wiltshire.

WiFiworks could not have been more helpful. Excellent communication and knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. They visited site three times before installation to think through the plans, including dropping off cable on a Sunday to help us take the installation forwards. And the result is fast, reliable WiFi finally. Thank you.

After years of living with variable connectivity throughout my property, WiFiworks have given me the definitive solution. Living in a typical west London long thin terraced house, the WiFi was great at one end of the house (where the router was of course) and non-existent at the other. The off the shelf boosters I tried only gave very patchy coverage. So I found WiFiworks and lo and behold, I have good WiFi coverage throughout the whole house. What I really liked about them was simple: they responded quickly, came when they said they would, did what they said they would and charged what they said they would. If only everybody one deals with were like that. I recommend them.
