WifiWorks was appointed to provide the network infrastructure for the new rooftop bar at Village Underground, one of Shoreditch’s best-known live music and cultural venues. The network was designed to support the bar’s essential operational systems, including the kitchen, EPOS terminals and CCTV cameras. Enterprise-grade UniFi switching, a UniFi gateway and E7 access points provide fast, secure and reliable wired and wireless connectivity throughout the new rooftop space. This installation forms part of a wider project to migrate the entire Village Underground site from its existing Cisco network to a fully managed UniFi platform. The main club and supporting areas are being upgraded to create one unified network with centralised management, greater visibility and the flexibility to expand as the venue develops. Our relationship with the client extends beyond Village Underground. WifiWorks has supported its sister venue, EartH in Dalston, since it first opened in 2018. The success and longevity of that installation demonstrate the reliability of both the original design and our ongoing technical support. By using the connected UniFi platform, WifiWorks can centrally monitor and support multiple venues while maintaining clear separation and control at each location. This makes UniFi particularly well suited to multi-site businesses, allowing us to identify issues, manage equipment and provide remote assistance across an entire estate. We have successfully applied this approach for numerous other multi-site organisations. The project includes:

I cannot recommend Wifiworks more highly. Living in a typical west London long thin terraced house, the WiFi was great at one end of the house (where the router was of course) and non-existent at the other. The off the shelf boosters I tried only gave very patchy coverage. So I found WiFiworks and lo and behold, I have good WiFi coverage throughout the whole house. What I really liked about them was simple: they responded quickly, came when they said they would, did what they said they would and charged what they said they would. If only everybody one deals with were like that. I recommend them.

Having outgrown our existing premises at Leyton Studios, we needed to link our network to another building. WiFiworks came and installed a wireless link between the two sites, ran all new infrastruture with new WiFi access points which they can monitor remotely. Highly recommended
