Wifi Works were contacted by this high profile client regarding issues they had with their existing wifi setup. They had the right equipment but it was setup incorrectly and the position of the access points was not great. The property dates back to the Queen Anne era and the walls are very thick.

So we ran our site survey equipment to ascertain where the issues were and then implemented a plan on how to fix them. These included moving certain access points as well as adding more powerful devices. Another main thing to do was to add a controller which the previous company omitted to do.

After implementation we again ran our analysis including a spectrum analyser to make sure everything was working as it should be. We also noticed that we were not having any drop outs and the handover between the various access points was seamless. Also they were having drop outs with their Sky Q system which works by wireless meshing, the drop outs have now stopped.

We contacted the client two weeks after implementation and they reported that everything was working perfectly as it should be. We also setup a VPN so we could monitor all aspects of the network remotely for any issues.
